The role is an integral member of the wider maintenance team and provides input to continually improve what we do.As a Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include;
- Overseeing the maintenance program for our facility
- Managing contractors and external trades
- Performing reactive and programmed maintenance tasks
- Assisting in minor building works across various disciplines as required
- Support of any major works projects as required
- Maintaining the sites preventative maintenance programs
- Ensuring WHS and other compliance obligations are current and adhered to
- Seeking multiple quotes for works and assessing the scopes
- Issuing purchase orders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage technicians and trades
- Ability to independently manage property maintenance tasks
- Willingness to take instructions and demonstrate good judgment
- Good computer literacy
- Receptive to feedback with a drive for continuous personal development
- Familiarity with building maintenance services
- Basic understanding of Australian Health and Safety Standards
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Desirable qualification or willingness to undertake additional training: i.e. Test & Tag, Fire warden, etc
- Trade background with formal certificate or tertiary qualifications highly desired
- White Card desirable
