AddressPPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in the mining industry with maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication, and installation of industrial facilities.
We seek an experienced Supervisor in our DRY Area to join our growing team based at SINO, Cape Preston.
Applicants will work a 2+1 FIFO roster from Perth. FULL TIME.
To be eligible for the role you must possess the following:
- Previous Supervisor experience in similar roles: (Primary crusher rebuild, Pebble crusher rebuild & conveyor maintenance)
- S1, S2, S3 qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience, knowledge, and understanding of crushing operations as they pertain to hard rock mining and mineral processing.
Responsibilities:
- Actively support all members of the team to achieve the required goal.
- Through strong leadership, secure the best possible mental and physical work performance from each team member.
- Respond to any emergency jobs required by clients.
- Liaise with client representatives at all levels.
- Ensure Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance.
- Conduct daily pre-starts covering activities, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Identify training needs, and either prepare and conduct training personally or source others to deliver required training.
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding job activities and equipment conditions to others as required.
- Ensure that each job is thoroughly scoped before work commences, this may be achieved by appointing another qualified and experienced person.
- Establish methods to prevent work errors. Investigate and act to prevent rework.
- Identify and report to the Superintendent any scope of work variations.
Mandatory
- Australian ‘C’ Class motor vehicle license
- All relevant mine site tickets: White Card / Working at Heights / EWP/ HRWL / Confined spaces / First Aid
- Trade Certificate
- Strong working knowledge of sound leadership techniques and concepts.
- Knowledge and understanding of modern maintenance management concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-starting and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS 4801.
undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Test before commencement.
