The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, employing nearly 3000 employees.
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Technicianto join the team at our Dandenong South facility in Melbourne.
The key purpose of your role will be to provide a range of maintenance services at the site as well as coordinate external trades to ensure that maintenance and contractor requirements are fulfilled. This also includes performing preventative maintenance tasks.
You will be joining an experienced and collaborative team who are responsible for the maintenance of our facilities across Australia.
Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Performing repairs and servicing equipment
- Scheduling appointments for work orders designated for operations and tenants
- Investigating any maintenance issues and addressing accordingly
- Assisting subcontractors / trades to complete works, where required
- Preventative maintenance scheduling and documentation using the MEX software system
- Communicating all activities on site to the appropriate lease manager as required
- Seeking advice from the relevant Safety representative regarding the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements that are to be incorporated into the proposed service tender documentation
- Ensuring insurance and other documentation provided by the contractor meets Company requirements
- Ensuring contractors complete the contractor induction program, ensure evidence of completed induction is held on file, supply evidence of workers compensation and public liability coverage
Your background and experience should ideally include:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- A trade background / skill is preferrable
- Qualifications in either a trade, safety or engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with MEX (Maintenance Management Software) or similar maintenance management software
- Strong administration and data entry skills
- A current and valid driver's licence
