The Role: Maintenance Technician - Bibra Lake Facility
Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with a passion for ensuring equipment excellence? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Operations Division at our cutting-edge facility in Bibra Lake. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and managing various plastic fabrication and welding equipment across site, workshop, and mobile units.
About You: If you possess an analytical mind, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining equipment at the highest standards, you're the candidate we're looking for. Your attention to detail and dedication to continuous improvement will contribute to our success.
Tasks and Duties:
- Conducting planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnosing equipment faults, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime.
- Implementing preventative maintenance measures and scheduling regular maintenance programs.
- Providing operational support and training to other staff.
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Supporting goods in and goods out for the plastics division.
- Compliance with QHSE and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Mechanic (preferred).
- Essential forklift experience and license.
- Mechanical/industrial maintenance background.
- Electrical Tagging certification.
- Electro and butt welding certification (desirable).
- Goods in Goods out knowledge and experience advantageous.
- Strong computer skills.
- Dogman license.
- Understanding of Quality and Safety requirements.
