Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician with Gallery Group, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and enhancement of our residential properties. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Organising Your Workflow for the Week: Efficiently planning and prioritising weekly tasks to ensure the timely completion of all maintenance activities.
- Booking Jobs with Clients and Tenants: Arranging maintenance and repair work to minimise inconvenience, ensuring a smooth experience for our clients and tenants.
- Liaising with Client’s Property Managers: Serving as the main point of contact for property managers, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding maintenance requirements and schedules.
- Assessing Jobs: Conducting detailed assessments of maintenance requests to determine the scope of work, necessary resources, and any potential obstacles.
- Scope of Works: Creating detailed plans for each job, specifying the tasks, materials, and time frames required.
- Requesting Trades, Booking Trades | Scheduling: Coordinating with tradespeople and service providers, arranging and scheduling their services to efficiently address specific maintenance needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance, preferably within the residential construction sector.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using basic maintenance tools and equipment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different sites as required.
