Maintenance/Handyperson

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance/Handyman to join a great team based in the Northern Suburbs area. Our client services Housing trust homes for the Northern suburbs (Gawler - Pooraka) and is looking for a reliable safety minded individual to join their team.About your new roleAs a Maintenance/Handyperson you will be expected to work autonomously and drive to peoples homes to preform maintenance fixes to various components of a house. You must have a strong safety focus, be able to think outside the box as you are dealing with retro fits (not new homes) and take pride in your work.About You:

• Be physically Fit - Able to lift 30kg frequently
• Reliable
• Current Drivers licence (P's minimum)
• A reliable Ute, Van or Wagon to transport materials (MUST be able to drive a manual)

Must have experience in the following areas:

• Kitchen installations
• Flushing
• Gyprock
• Hanging doors
• Tiling (basic)
• 2nd fix carpentry and handyman skills (Does not have to be trade qualified)

Must be willing to undertake:

• A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Police Clearance

This position offers you:Tool and Fuel allowance
