The Role:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager - Major Accounts, this role is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining relationships with Major Account customers while also building new business. Your primary focus will be on driving account growth and understanding customer needs to boost sales in Material Handling unit leases and sales.This role demands commitment and experience, sales pipeline can be long, we are looking for an employee with staying power , someone keen to develop and invest in their own career and in return be invested in !
Responsibilities:
- Build and expand the Major Account portfolio in alignment with business objectives.
- Actively seek out new business prospects.
- Analyse sales and market trends, preparing accurate sales forecasts.
- Foster strong relationships and regular communication with Major Account customers.
- Oversee and facilitate the tender process and agreements, adhering to company procedures.
- Execute the sales plan for specific brands of Material Handling products.
- Desirable experience in the forklift or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industry.
- Proven track record in a similar sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth by expanding the customer base.
- Proficiency in sales and account management.
- Management experience, including exposure to business planning.
- Strong computer literacy and presentation skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
- Base Salary circa $85,000 (experience dependant)
- Commission – OTE per Annum $125,000 (once established)
