About the Opportunity
HCA has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated and professional Major Account Manager to join our dynamic Fleet Management Systems (FMS) team based in WA.
Reporting to the National FMS Manager, the focus of this role is to identify and maximise our business development and sales opportunities as well as maintain and develop existing customer accounts. You will also be responsible for the development, and delivery of technical advice to all stakeholders and actively participate in our new product evolutions.
In this position, you'll be sharing HCA product and market knowledge ensuring superior customer service to identify and acquire profitable customer accounts and reporting relevant activities, prospects, sales opportunities, and competitor analysis all contributing to the delivery of successful business strategy within your territory.
About the role
  • Win, retain and grow profitable customer accounts to contribute to the achievement of the sales plans, service and profit targets for a specified sales area.
  • Take the lead in delivering business strategies within a defined Major account.
  • Collaborate locally and with the broader business to develop sustainable networks and relationships that reach across functions and organisations, including external partners
  • Lead the overall performance of the Major accounts keeping on top of issues
  • Provide technical expertise to the Major accounts to support the delivery of superior customer service
  • Recognise training needs and implement training programs for Major accounts
  • Remain actively involved in escalated issues to lead them to a successful resolution
About you
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Sales Position within the mining or mining services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling high end solutions within a mining and industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
