Major Projects Canberra continues to plan and deliver major infrastructure projects which will maintain Canberra as one of the world’s most liveable and competitive cities.
To facilitate those major infrastructure projects, Major Projects Canberra establishes Project Advisory Boards, and accordingly is seeking suitably qualified candidates to serve as Board members (including independent chairs) of Advisory Boards established for individual major infrastructure projects from time to time.
Project Advisory Boards are established across various asset classes, including health infrastructure, major transport infrastructure, social and cultural infrastructure, and other types of infrastructure. The duration of contracts will depend upon the needs of individual project boards. Independent advisory Board Members will be remunerated, with remuneration reflecting the frequency of board meetings (which will generally be monthly). Remuneration is set by the ACT Remuneration Tribunal, currently Determination 18 of 2023 Part-Time Public Office Holders.
To Express your Interest in serving on an ACT Government infrastructure Project Advisory board, an application should be made to the contact officer setting out your experience with Public Sector Boards and strategic involvement in major infrastructure projects, relevant qualifications and areas of experience, and identifying expertise in any particular industry. A current curriculum vitae must accompany your application.
