Well established and WA owned, Zippy Group is a fast-paced multi-site vehicle rental business.
Under new leadership, and with significant growth plans, the business is now seeking a high performing Management Accountant to help modernise the systems and processes and improve the reporting for management.
With a Head Office located in Rockingham and 7 branches from Joondalup in the north to Bunbury in the south we cover the whole of Perth and with more branches on the way.
The role:
This newly established full-time role will work closely with all staff including the Accountant, General Manager, Branch Managers in this close nit team of around 25.
This wide-ranging role includes Accounts Payable, a small amount of Accounts Receivable, assistance with Payroll, General Ledger Management as well as Management Reporting and analysis. There will be a significant ability to influence and help establish the processes and systems to set the business up for its next stage of growth all under the guidance of a financially orientated GM.
This role would be suitable for someone who is looking to get into a commercial setting from an accounting firm or for someone looking to grow their career with a broader opportunity.
The ideal candidate:
You will ideally be a qualified accountant with an appropriate tertiary degree and experience in a similar commercial setting. Experience with Xero and Xero Payroll as well as generally being quite tech savvy will be important.
Articulate and with a practical can-do attitude, you will be very analytical and experienced in producing insightful easy-to-understand financial reports. You will be solutions driven with a strong eye for detail and aware of the need to consider the big-picture. Advanced Excel proficiency will be advantageous.
As a forward-thinking team player who doesn’t mind rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in when needed, you will show initiative, adaptability, communicate well, and form solid working relationships.
