DTMT is a privately owned and operated organisation founded in 1982 and specialise in major Civil Construction, Infrastructure and Building Projects and providing Logistics services throughout Western Australia.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will be required to complete all month-end processing and meet assigned deadlines consistently. You will be responsible to prepare the financial statements, annual budget, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations through to profit & loss analysis including providing commentary on a monthly basis. In addition, you will also be responsible for all statutory reporting requirements including liasing with our external accountant, where required.
Required Competencies/Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in a finance related discipline.
- Working towards professional membership to CA or CPA (highly regarded).
- 3+ years accounting experience in budgeting, forecasting, creating timelines and management reporting. (logistics experience will be highly regarded).
- Ability to adapt to different accounting software programs.
- Proven ability building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and broader MS office skillset.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with staff and senior management.
- Work autonomously with minimal direction to achieve objectives.
