As an industry leader in their field the group is well positioned for the future, with FY25 forecast being more than $75million.
Their success to date has allowed them to stake their claim here in Australia, while preparing themselves for international expansion over the next 12-18 months with the backing of an ASX listed Private Equity investor.
The role:
The Management Accountant reports to the Group Financial Controller and is a key member of the finance team. Within this role, you will focus on providing the business with insight and understanding through detailed analysis of the business’s commercial operations.
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Analysis and Cost Management activities. Your skills will also be utilised to create and present reports and dashboards to management which provide insights and understanding, allowing commercial data-driven decisions to be made with confidence.
This newly created position is key to enabling the group to exceed its commercial goals through optimising reporting and better understanding business performance.
Your key to success:
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral, with the ability to confidently present meaningful data in an informative way
- The ability to prepare budgets and forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and stakeholder input
- The ability to compare business performance against budgets
- Experience in conducting cost-benefit analysis and evaluating the financial impact of proposed business initiatives
- Strong collaborator who can confidently partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Being commercially astute, with the ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex environment
- Possessing a critical thought & continuous improvement mindset
- CA or CPA qualified and having a proven track record of success within a similar role
