- Deliver a range of management accounting services following best practices and KPIs.
- Perform budget and management reporting, including preparing budgets/forecasts for research grants/contracts and monitoring financial performance.
- Create reports, analyze data/trends, provide strategic recommendations, and work with clients to address issues.
- Manage financial acquittals for external funding bodies, ensuring compliance with formats and rules.
- Maintain financial and operational systems, oversaw workflows, and ensured compliant record maintenance.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to address client needs.
- Participate in and implement continuous improvement activities for R&R accounting practices, quality standards, and customer service.
- Comply with university, financial, tax, legal, and corporate governance requirements for R&R accounting.
What you will have
- Expertise in developing, preparing, and monitoring complex budgets, forecasting, and managing income/expenditure.
- Advanced communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and convey complex financial information to varied audiences.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence and hands-on relationship management.
- Robust numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for data interpretation, trend identification, and practical recommendations.
- Advanced computer literacy, preferably with experience in SAP or other large ERP systems.
