Your new company
We have partnered with a large government department client to assist in their search for a Level 6 Management Accountant. Reporting to the CFO, the role is to assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting.
The role is based in the Perth CBD and is a 3-month temporary assignment with the possibility to extend for the right candidate. Ideally, you are available to begin work immediately.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
Management and development of internal budget planning and financial modelling
Preparation of budget papers
End of period budget adjustments
Monthly management reports
Liaise internally and externally
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similar role is essential, as is:
Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Government experience is highly regarded
Bachelor's degree qualification
A CPA qualification or equivalent is preferred
