Your role at St John of God Health Care
You will be responsible for preparing the delivery of their respective Hospital(s) and/or Service(s)'s financial and management accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting their Hospital(s) and/or Service(s) with budget, forecast, variance and ad hoc analysis.
The Position
- Processing of the monthly transactional accounting for their respective Hospital(s) and/or Service(s)s within agreed timelines / month end timetable. Liaise with Finance Managers / Hospital(s) and/or Service(s)s during the month end close.
- Preparation of allocated Hospital(s) and/or Service(s) monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Follow up / clear outstanding actions with Hospital(s) and/or Service(s) Finance Directors / Managers on a timely basis. Ensure month end reconciliations are signed off by Hospital(s) and/or Service(s) Finance Directors / Managers.
- Preparation of management reporting and information and variance analysis
- Follow and comply with agreed work plans.
- Assists Hospital(s) and/or Service(s) Finance Directors / Managers, with budgeting, forecasting, variance and other ad hoc reporting.
- Assist during external and internal audits, providing information in a timely manner.
- Design and implement process improvements.
- Assisting with the Graduate Accountants as required, including training, mentoring and guidance.
- Project work as required
You will have hands on experience in delivering month end to tight deadlines and expert knowledge of accounting and finance practices and processes along with proven stakeholder management, communication and inter personal skills.
To succeed you will be Degree qualified together with a CA/CPA qualification.
