AddressWe are looking for Management Accountant to join our team based in Jandakot. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information and facilitating decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and the strategic plan through reporting and analysis.
About you
- Accounting degree or equivalent Finance/Business degree
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST and FBT
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Analytical thinker
- Professional membership with or working towards CPA or ICAA qualification.
- Experience in the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Experience with finance and payroll systems
About the role
- Analysis of financial results; monitoring of variances to plan including monthly commentary; identifying trends and recommending actions.
- Modelling cost of operations and revenue.
- Identify initiatives to improve processes, systems and work practices.
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Partnering with leaders in the business in the financial management of their portfolios.
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of monthly reports.
- Maintenance of the contract register.
- Assisting with the preparation of the year end audit file and reporting to external parties.
- Assisting with the FBT return.
- Responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Register.
- Responsible for the management and reconciliation of inventory.
- Maintain the registers of all lease/rental properties and other assets.

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.
