Our client is seeking a dedicated and driven Management Accountant to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial records for all designated business units are accurately maintained, providing action-oriented financial information, analysis and forecasting to operational managers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to strategic decision making, with a focus on identifying emerging trends to achieve budgeted targets.
What you'll do:
As a Management Accountant, you will play an integral role in the financial management of the organisation. You will be responsible for providing insightful financial information, analysis and forecasting to operational managers, aiding them in making strategic decisions. Your ability to monitor financial performance effectively, develop meaningful KPIs, manage budgets/forecasts, conduct pricing/service cost analyses and identify opportunities for system/process improvements will be key to your success in this role.
- Provide action-oriented financial information, analysis and forecasting to operational managers including trend analysis/statistics
- Ensure that financial performance is effectively monitored, understood by managers and where necessary appropriate and timely intervention on performance issues
- Develop and implement KPI's for understanding and improving organisational performance
- Responsible for budgeting/forecasting for relevant business units supporting operational managers on developing budgets for relevant services
- Conduct pricing and service cost analysis for tenders and budgets
- Identify scope and prepare business cases for finance related systems and process improvements
What you bring:

- Experience within the aged care or healthcare sector would be highly regarded
- ERP Implementation experience would be beneficial
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
