In light of our current restructuring, we are actively seeking a new addition to our dynamic Finance team in the role of Management Accountant. This position offers a unique opportunity for you to provide accurate and timely analysis and modelling of operational business and financial performance while also expanding your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including consolidations
• Investigate key manufacturing variances and recommend solutions
• Manage inventory movements, adjustments and write offs
• Manage month-end accounting close processes, communication of timetable to all parties and take overall ownership of month-end close
• Assist in the preparation of annual company and departmental budgets, forecasts and monitoring of performance to targets
• Manage all payroll journals and preparation of on-costs 
• Support Accounts Officers on a day-to-day basis
• Prepare and lodge IAS/BAS for all entities
• Review and monitor Internal Control Systems to ensure compliance with current and relevant regulations.

Skills and experience

• Recognised Accounting Degree together with CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
• Highly organised and able to deal with multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
• High-level attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent financial systems experience and Advanced Excel
• 2-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to costing and inventory management 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
