The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll focus on the financial elements for our Australian cancer care division. Icon has 38 cancer centres operating across Australia. We are constantly evolving, so you’ll embrace and enjoy pace, progress, and change – because we rarely sit still for long!

As a Management Accountant on a permanent full-time basis based at our head office in South Brisbane, you’ll join a truly connected and talented team who are passionate about delivering positive outcomes so that we’re providing the best possible patient care.
Our team makes us who we are, they shape our impact and drive our success. And at Icon, you’ll play a key part by:
Processing end of month, including preparation of general journals, revenue journals, cost accruals, wages journals and accruals, recharges and monthly credit card expenses
Conduct a monthly P&L review against budget with commentary and KPI analysis
Reviewing weekly Doctor Payments Proposal to ensure accuracy and completeness
Preparing monthly Doctor Practice Management invoices
Preparing weekly receipt reporting, fortnightly debtor reporting and other ad hoc reporting as required
Contributing to the oversight and maintenance of reporting systems
Assisting with budget preparation
Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including CEO’s, site managers, Doctors, auditors and suppliers
Supporting year end audit processes
Recommending improvements of processes with a focus on optimal efficiency and accuracy
About You
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or relevant tertiary qualification
Passionate to join an evolving company with the ability to adapt
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Regulations, and working knowledge of business law principles
Experience with coordinating and completing monthly management reporting cycles
With a key eye for detail, you’ll have a willingness to solve problems
