An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Commercial Sales Manager to join the Gold Coast SUNS.
As the Commercial Sales Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our corporate sales and coterie program strategy. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue targets, managing product delivery, and nurturing relationships with our Corporate Partners. This role reports directly to the GM - Commercial and requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to achieving business targets.
The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the Commercial Sales department through the strategic planning, selling, relationship building and prospecting of corporate hospitality, signage and digital sales;
- Creating new sales opportunities, prospects and outlets to grow GCFC corporate portfolio;
- Lead and grow our SUNS in Business and Team 22 program and pipeline;
- Managing dedicated corporate relationships and after sales support - from close of sale through to hand over;
- Driving Signage and Digital sales through LED, static signage platforms and Game Day TV;
- Ensuring the delivery of a high-quality Match Day experience for all Corporate Clients; and
- Two (2) direct reports
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong personal brand which personifies the Gold Coast SUNS values.
- Qualification in Business Management (or similar).
- Management experience with a demonstrated ability to develop, lead and motivate a team.
- Experience developing sales strategies and plans with the ability to work to and achieve targets within these plans.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Proven success in securing and servicing Corporate Accounts.
- Experience within the sports industry, entertainment venue or amusement park (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with CRM databases such as Salesforce
