Manager - 2nd Line Risk

My client is a leading financial services institutional looking for a Compliance Assurance Risk expert to work in their 2nd Line Function. You will be responsible for the delivery of 2nd Line Assurance reviews to meet both APRA’s and my clients own reporting and prudential standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 2nd Line Compliance Assurance and Reporting Standards
• Provide insights and subject matter knowledge around APRA Standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple facets of the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Scope and engage stakeholders for each prudential assurance activity effectively.
• Conduct reviews and test controls for design and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure timely completion of testing, reporting of issues, and high-quality remediation testing.
• Continuously improve Prudential Assurance testing approach and review planning.

Requirements:

• Over 4 years of assurance or internal audit experience, ideally in financial services.
• Experience or knowledge in using data analytics for assurance reviews or technology audit.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret Prudential obligation requirements and work independently.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning is a bonus
