About the business unit
The Strategy, Engagement and Communication (SEC) Division develops and implements engagement and communication strategies that position TIQ as the Australia's premier state trade and investment agency and Queensland's trusted international advisor for global affairs. SEC leads communication and media, marketing and creative, events and engagement and strategy and performance functions that contribute to increasing the awareness and profile of TIQ's services, clients and programs.
Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)
To be successful in this role you will:
- Support the Director, Marketing and Creative in the development, stakeholder engagement and implementation phases of Queensland's global business brand.
- Champion brand Queensland and be a custodian of the global business, Trade and Investment Queensland, Study Queensland, Migration Queensland and associated sub and program brands.
- Oversee and ensure effective implementation of brand strategies and assets across TIQs global network, cross agency partners and extensive partnerships and memberships.
Data and insights
- Lead, develop and maintain annual brand measurement initiatives to evaluate and enhance the performance of TIQ to support our ambition of becoming a leading global agency.
- Lead the development and delivery of client focused research projects that provide insights and data to improve decision making and unlock new opportunities.
- Manage and co-ordinate regular reporting in relation to TIQ's digital assets including website, social channels, marketing tools and CRM systems to uncover opportunities for improved performance. Work across the agency and with contractors and suppliers to implement strategic and innovative solutions.
Client Experience
- Lead Trade and Investment Queensland's digital transformation, managing the delivery of key projects across website, marketing cloud and digitally led sales and service tools.
- Lead, develop and implement client lifecycle management strategies and initiatives to attract and nurture new export and investment clients to contribute to key performance outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the Events, Communications, Information technology, Study Queensland, Migration Queensland, International and Queensland operations teams to leverage digital tools that deliver quality client experiences in an effective and efficient manner.
- Manage the contracts, subscriptions and service providers responsible for delivering and maintaining TIQs digital tools and assets.
- Oversee the content, design and performance of the TIQ website ensuring it complies with current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and best practice user experience.
