We are an ethical and high-quality practice providing the full range of corporate and personal insolvency services, underpinned by the commitment of the highest level of financial investigation and recovery skills to the small and medium-sized enterprise market.As a Manager within the Business Recovery and Insolvency team, you will be guaranteed an exciting career that incorporates both your accounting and legal mind. No two days are the same as you will work across a range of projects that may involve different industries and very different problems.About the roleYou will join a supportive and energetic team environment, focusing on formal insolvency engagements including liquidations, bankruptcies and voluntary administrations. These engagements may involve the trading and sale of a business, carrying out an investigation, detecting fraudulent conduct, identifying misconduct and criminal behaviour, and recovering assets wherever they are located.Key responsibilities
- Application of insolvency statutory frameworks, the Corporations Act and Bankruptcy Act
- Performance of investigations and recovery of assets
- Complex financial analysis
- Working with clients regarding a range of matters including unfair preference defence, expert witness reports/litigation support, liquidation and negotiation with insolvency firms
- Managing and mentoring junior staff members

Ideally, you have previously managed other junior staff.Relevant tertiary qualificationsYou are degree qualified and have your CA/CPA qualification.Team playerYou communicate with ease and can quickly build rapport and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop trusted working relationships in a team environment.
