The Manager Community Engagement Role
The Manager of Community Engagement is responsible for leading the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the FUNLHN Consumer and Community Engagement Framework, including the planning, design and co-ordination of initiatives to help the region meet criteria under National Safety and Quality in Health Services Partnering with Consumers Standard. This significant, complex project is required to be repeated every three years.
They are responsible to lead the ongoing Consumer and Community Engagement Framework and support initiatives within the Consumer and Community Engagement framework i.e. the LHN’s Health Advisory Councils, the Aboriginal Consumer and Community Engagement Strategy, the Mental Health Consumer and Carer Participation Program, the Regional Community Network Strategy and any other consumer and Community Engagement strategy or program that arises.
They provide managerial role for FUNLHN Volunteer Coordinator staff members which includes provision of leadership, support, expert advice, significant responsibility, innovation and consultancy service.
