ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
The Manager Community Service Delivery is responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary business unit that provides a range of services to the Singleton community. Services include childcare, library services, youth services, gym & swim and Singleton Heights Sports centre, visitor information centre, and customer service.
This role is responsible for enabling a culture of high-performance including acting as a champion of change to drive business excellence, the provision of high-quality services internally and to the community, quality customer experiences, stakeholder engagement, financial performance, knowledge management, risk management and legislative compliance for areas of responsibility. The position is also Councils nominated ‘Child Safety Manager’ and is responsible for the implementation and continuous review of Singleton Councils Child Safe Framework and associated actions.
As a member of the Leadership Team, the Manager Community Service Delivery contributes to setting the strategic direction and leading and supporting outcomes contained in Councils Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position is $195,000 per annum inclusive of a generous vehicle allowance and superannuation.
