We’re proud to work in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination Services in Townsville, Mackay, Gawler, Barossa, ACT and virtually in Tweed Heads.

About the role:
The Manager Contract Performance and Assurance role is an integral part of the Local Area Coordination Team and is primarily responsible for ensuring Feros Care as an NDIS LAC Partner in the Community is meeting all contractual and legislative requirements is accordance with the NDIA Grant Agreement. To complement this function, the role is also responsible for the review and development of LAC policies and procedures to ensure quality standards are met which facilitates consistency
in decision-making processes and operational procedures.

This is a full time, fixed term contract with a very high possibility of extension!

Key responsibilities:
Build a culture of contract performance, including contract evaluations, quality improvement recommendations and leveraging program data to inform insights and decision making
Implement robust systems which audit and monitor contract compliance with the NDIA
Develop and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships with relevant stakeholders such as the NDIA, Service Area Managers, internal business Managers and other key stakeholders to facilitate program and organisational objectives
Assist with submissions to government such as responses to legislative council enquiries, productivity commission reports, NDIA reports and contributions to tenders
Work with the National Leadership Team to implement the relevant audit framework to ensure Feros Care LAC is delivering services in accordance the NDIA Grant Agreement, Statement of Requirements, and appropriate performance systems, NDIA Operational Guidelines and relevant legislation
Manage Feros Care's LAC policy and procedures framework to clarify LAC business operational standards expected of employees, with an aim of maintaining operational stability and ensure consistency in the decision-making and operational procedures
Review or create new policies, procedures and work instructions as required to support the operational delivery of LAC services
Model a service culture that promotes person centred approaches and outcomes, reflecting the rights of people with disability to exercise choice and control over all aspects of their lives
Work collaboratively with the National Team (Manager, Quality Practice, Manager, Community Development) to ensure all key performance reporting requirements are submitted to the NDIA as specified in the appropriate performance systems, Analyse performance against the Grant Agreement
and Grant Volumes

The boxes you will tick:
Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in allied health, disability services, human services, community development, social work or similar discipline
Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS Act 2013 and the participant pathway
Demonstrated thorough understanding of community development theory and practices
Previous achievements in developing and implementing community development and capacity building initiatives
Passion for people management and experience in growing a self-sufficient workforce with high energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence
Experience and knowledge of the disability sector and the NDIS legislation, frameworks, guidelines and implementation program
Superior written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in strategic report writing
