Directorate of Fuel Supply, Fuel Services Branch (FSB) is seeking an experienced APS 6Contract Performance and Assurance Manager with extensive understanding of complex procurement and contract management. This exciting role will be part of a team that manages a wide range of complex contracts to provide fuel supply services to the Australian Defence Force. You will contribute to team knowledge and expertise in accordance with legal principles, legislative and mandatory policy compliance obligations related to contract management in Defence and the Performance Management Framework in particular.
You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of procurement and contract management functions and administration, performance management and compliance with contract requirements. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and diverse team, where excellent interpersonal and communication skills are paramount. Supervision of a small team may be required and you will be required to engage and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
About our Team
The team, which is part of the Fuel Services Branch, provides valuable capability support to Defence, by ensuring the ongoing availability of fuels, oils and lubricants to Defence assets both in country and overseas. This is achieved by strategically procuring products into the Joint Logistics Command warehouse network and by arranging direct delivery of product to an asset.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be able to work under limited direction and have a good understanding of contract management and procurement processes. You will have supervisory experience and be able to manage a dynamic workload and meet deadlines. You will also have a knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks, policies and procedures including knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence Commercial Framework such as the Defence Procurement Manual. An understanding of Defence Panel Arrangements would also advantageous.
