Manager Corporate Communications
Joining our team means you’ll be part of something that really matters. As the Manager Corporate Communications, you will be strategically managing and guiding the flow of professional, clear, influential, and dynamic information within and outside of Horizon Power, whilst promoting a positive external brand image and building and maintaining a trusted and credible resource internally.

Your role will:

• Be developing and leading communication strategies, policies and frameworks that ensure a clear, consistent, and credible brand and align to the Horizon Power strategy, as well as anticipating and managing reputational risks.
• Directing the strategic planning and supervision of Horizon Power's internal and external communication policies, online presence, and engagement activities, to ensure that all staff members are well-informed, committed, and driven to fulfil Horizon Power's goals and aspirations.
• Directing the CEO's internal engagement efforts, such as the CEO roadshow and the executive leadership meetings.
• Developing and managing Horizon Power’s issues, emergency, and crisis communications management plan, ensuring this remains relevant, functional, and up to date. 

You will have: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, business, or a related field is mandatory.
• Significant experience in a communications, public relations, or marketing leadership position.
• Significant experience and application of social media, digital channels, and the ability to manage content across multiple channels. 
• Demonstrated experience leading crisis communications, including rapid response strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
• Demonstrated experience leading small, high performing communications teams.
• A strategic and creative mindset, a high level of professionalism and ethical judgment. 
• An understanding of government and parliamentary processes is desirable.
