The health service and position opportunity

The South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) provides hospital and community-based public health services to nearly a quarter of WA's population as well as supporting WA Country Health Service patients from the Great Southern, Southern Wheatbelt and Goldfields regions. Our hospital network provides services that include the renowned adult burns service, emergency care and heart, lung and renal transplants.

Located 25 minutes south of Perth is the biggest tertiary hospital in the state, Fiona Stanley Hospital, where the role is based.

To join this dynamic team, you need to showcase expertise in strategic planning, leadership and management. This involves spearheading the development, execution and assessment of comprehensive corporate communication strategies spanning the breadth of the health service.
