The CBA Home Buying team has end-to-end responsibility for CommBank’s Home Loans business. We support the proprietary, third party and ‘white label’ distribution channels to meet our customers’ needs for home finance and advice, offering a simpler and faster alternative lending experience for customers.
Within the Speciality Product and Platforms crew the Residential Mortgages Group (RMG) squad provides white-labelled home loan product solutions to our distribution partners, offering a simpler and faster alternative lending experience for customers. Leveraging the strength of CBA and the agility of our third party suppliers, RMG delivers sustainable market share and profit growth to the RBS Home Buying business. We partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we always deliver on our promises to our customers.

The Product Manager - Risk Delivery requires an experienced operational risk professional. The role will offer a unique scope of responsibilities in the management of risk issues, incidents and breaches relating to the our white label products operations.
Reporting to the Chapter Lead Manufacture Enhance Product Solution Management, you’ll play a key role in the identification, triage and delivery of risk items and be accountable for developing and designing enhancements, controls and processes / changes to address any identified risk gaps in the business or product.
You will move forward with less-than-perfect information, confidentially address stakeholder questions and concerns, and possess the ability to accurately evaluate ambiguous situations to reach informed decisions. You will have the ability to resolve complex issues by first having a clear understanding of the problem, and then using effective strategies and techniques to generate appropriate solutions.
Additional responsibilities will include:

• Driving the uplift, build and delivery of any existing controls in conjunction with Line 1 Risk and Line Risk 2 counterparts
• Taking ownership of the Issues and Incidents forum across end to end value chain
• Monitoring risk profile to ensure risk buy down activities are delivered in a timely manner and within business appetite across E2E value chain
• Reviewing and managing the control landscape for the product and business
• Managing change to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the customer and broker experience

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Previous operational risk management experience within financial services
• Previous project delivery experience
• Home lending experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a strong customer focus
• Highly effective communication skills, including a proven ability to influence
• Strong, collaborative team player
