This role is focused on building and sustaining a dynamic community-based, values driven service to people living with a disability.
Joining a values-driven, supportive and inclusive team, you will:
- Provide operational oversight of program practices and service delivery
- Ensure appropriate reporting within expected timeframes
- Ensure the program performance and operation within governance frameworks, Centacare NQ Strategic and Business plans.
- Ensure quality of service through supporting employee development, training, and line management.
- Oversight and management of daily operations of the Disabilities and Community Care services and sites, including Supported Independent Living (SIL) facilities.
- Work collaboratively within the management team to seek out and share best practice strategies and approaches to service delivery across the Townsville and Mount Isa regions.
- Ensure client needs are met through all service experiences including choice, control, participation, inclusion, and connection.
- Experience managing a diverse and multi-disciplinary team in the disability or community services context.

Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will have:- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences and minimum of 5 years’ experience in social or community services management,
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating program operational plans, & service evaluation processes
- Demonstrated capacity in relation to effective management of programs and employees across diverse geographic regions, disciplines, and program delivery areas.
- A current Driver Licence.
- Currently hold, and/or eligibility to obtain and maintain, both a Disability Worker Screening and a Working with Children Blue Card.
