A brief snapshot about this exciting opportunity:
Our Emergency Relief program provides free financial and/or material aid for struggling families and individuals, who are experiencing a financial crisis which has left them unable to pay for necessities such as food.
This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise, leadership, support, coordination of consistency of delivery and expert advice to ensure management of all services delivered under the CCVT DSS Emergency Relief Contract and the No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS).
Specifically, the position is responsible for:
- Designing, developing and monitoring the implementation strategy for delivery of Emergency Relief across multiple sites in Victoria and Tasmania.
- Develop funding tenders and provide specialist assistance to leadership in funding applications to DSS.
- Manage the development of an evidence based and validated model of best practice ER delivery with supporting assessments, benchmarking, and outcome measurement tools.
If you have the below skills & experience - we would love to hear from you!
- Relevant higher education or vocational qualification, preferably in Social Work, Allied Health, Welfare, or Community Development or similar related discipline
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of social justice, issues facing clients and respect for clients who are vulnerable and in crisis.
- Previous experience in the delivery of ER and/or NILS services would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated knowledge of all mandatory reporting requirements as appropriate.
