Your role:
As the Manager, Enterprise Data Management, you will lead the development of data management standards and practices and aligning it with the enterprise architectural plan.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the information required to support the organisation is defined, and devises appropriate processes and data architectures including the design and development of organisational data models that meet immediate and future needs.
- Manage the development an overall strategy of master and reference data management, within an established information architecture, that supports the development and secure operation of information and digital services.
- Manage the development of standards for data modelling, design tools and techniques and ensures compliance.
- Lead the development of data management structures and metadata to support consistency of information retrieval, analysis and interpretation throughout the department.
- Assist with the implementation of data lifecycle management practices, including data security classification, data retention, archiving, and data disposal.
Our ideal candidate would possess:
- At least 5 years in a senior Information/Data Architect role operating at an operational and strategic level.
- Detailed understanding of Data Architecture frameworks, data models, data catalogues, developing business glossaries and best practices and how to apply them.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to apply architectural principles, methods, and tools to business challenges.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
