Senior Business Analyst12-month contract with the option to extend2-3 days WFHNewstead, QLDAbout the Role:We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Energy customer for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Evolution project and be responsible for providing business intelligence and data analysis, process analysis, systems analysis and support to other project team members.The role requires great communication, stakeholder management skills as the Senior Business Analyst will navigate across multiple business groups as well as technical teams within the Digital division.Role requirements:Work with business stakeholders and data analysts to elicit requirements and translate into user stories.Demonstrated experience working on projects that provide corporate dashboard and reporting solutions to Board and Executive level management teamsDemonstrated experience working on and facilitating/co-ordinating the delivery of business intelligence or analytics outcomes across a diverse organisationCompetent in understanding SQL and embedded business rulesIdentify information sets, source data and business logic or calculations applied and then document requirements in the form of user stories.Create data visualisation mock-ups and reverse engineer requirements from existing solutions.Undertake testing activity to ensure data models and visualisations correlate with specified business requirements.Undertake functional testing activities related to the development and implementation of the platform.Support project team/s to successfully deliver the project/s using contemporary tools and applications such as Jira and Confluence.Ability to develop and deliver presentations that clearly articulate the issues and proposed solutions, in a dynamic / changing environment.Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
