As the Manager of Finance Strategic Budgeting, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and driving informed decision-making.

About the role
This role will see you lead and coordinate the development and implementation of our Strategic Budgeting process, preparing budgets and forward estimates whilst ensuring compliance with relevant NSW Treasury and statutory requirements.
You will work closely with senior leadership to align budgeting priorities with strategic objectives, optimise resource allocation, and drive financial performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and leadership skills, who can effectively communicate complex financial concepts and drive collaboration across the department.
About You
To be successful in this opportunity you will need a strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and financial analysis techniques. This includes excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
You will also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the department. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team will be critical for success.
Essential Criteria: Full Membership of CA / CPA Australia
