Job Title: Manager, GL & Reporting

Reports To: Financial Controller ANZ

Location: Melbourne, with a Global Reach in Australia, New Zealand & Singapore

Primary Responsibilities:

· Monthly and quarterly reporting for entities across Australia and New Zealand.

· Own end-to-end audit management and ensure timely filings.

· Drive change by leading intercompany agreements, compliance, and local to USGAAP reconciliations.

· Develop insightful profit & loss and balance sheet analytics.

· Onboard key clients, support team members through training, and engage with stakeholders.

Your Team:

· Direct Reports: 2-3 subordinates.

· Total Team Size: 15-20 employees.

Qualifications:

· CPA/CA with 7-8 years post-qualification experience.

· Deep knowledge of the insurance industry.

· Strong financial accounting skills.

· Prior experience leading teams is preferred.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Comfortable thriving in a remote team environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Prior team leadership experience.

· Experience working with Insurance based companies

· Audit experience from Chartered or Mid-tier firms is preferred.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Familiarity with Sun system/Oracle.

· Experience in a large global organization.
