We are recruiting for a specialist Hatchery Manager to drive improvement and performance in our hatchery operations.
Who You Are:
- You are not scared of a challenge and relish the opportunity to put your “stamp” on a hatchery, driving infrastructure and technology projects.
- With clear strengths in both technical and commercial you have the capability to lead the team and drive quality and biosecurity when delivering post larvae to both our farm and clients.
- You have a minimum of 10 years aquaculture experience, including management experience and specific experience in commercial Black Tiger Prawn production, (you need to be the technical expert, leading from the front to train and improve operational outcomes).
- You are technically astute, commercially focused and a leader that inspires your staff.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Aquaculture or relevant discipline
- You must hold a current manual drivers licence
- Specific experience with Penaeus monodon is preferred but other species such as L Vannamei and F. merguensis or F. indicus are acceptable.
- Demonstrated progression of management & supervisory roles within an aquaculture setting.

- Collaborative and able to work with others to achieve a common goal
