About the Department
The Healthy Communities Unit at Barwon Health leads the delivery of, and supports local health promotion action. Using a place based, partnership approach we aim to achieve better and more equitable health and wellbeing outcomes for the community in the Barwon region.
About the role
Barwon Health is currently seeking an experienced person for the role of Manager Health Promotion with the ability to lead primary prevention activities both within the organisation and the community. We are seeking a strategic person to lead the Healthy Communities team in the delivery of health promotion plans.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to manage work across various projects
- Strong leadership skills
- An understanding of contemporary health promotion and primary prevention practice
