Over the past four years, the Future Fund Management Agency has undertaken an ambitious initiative to enhance its investment data and technology capabilities. Which has resulted in the establishment of our new Investment Data Management ("IDM") function, dedicated to delivering reliable, and trustworthy investment information. The IDM function comprises four specialised teams:
• Data Operations and Change: This team oversees the end-to-end operational lifecycle of the Agency's investment data, enabling effective decision-making as well as implementing new initiatives and change.
• Data Governance and Solutions: Responsible for governing the Agency's investment data, this team ensures data integrity, reliability, and future-proofing of the data function.
• Data Experience: Focused on providing a user-friendly experience to access and comprehend the Agency's investment data.
• Relationship Management: Responsible for managing the relationships and strategic alignment of our data and data technology providers.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across the Agency to make a real impact on our vital mission.
Your primary responsibility will be to translate the visions, ideas, and needs of the Agency into comprehensive, innovative data solutions while also supporting operations teams in delivering these solutions. In addition to your direct management responsibility, you will also assist in managing the Agency's external partners that contribute to the IDM operating model.
The ideal candidate will have a background in implementing private market and ESG data solutions, as well as supporting operations. You should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will collaborate with teams across the Agency. Strong organisational skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and change initiatives simultaneously are also crucial.

The key duties of the position include
Implementation of change and new products
• Lead the implementation of new products and capabilities related to Private Markets and ESG.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, involving them proactively in determining business needs and solution requirements.
• Design solutions for implementing new Private Market and ESG data capabilities, collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate ideas into practical solutions.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and align IDM capabilities with broader Agency business plans.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of new products and services according to structured lifecycles, preparing them for delivery by the IDM Data Operations team.
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from Technology, Investments, Finance, P&A, etc., to design products collaboratively.
• Coordinate with Data Governance and Data Experience functions within IDM to ensure current and new solutions meet strategic operational needs.
• Maintain and make accessible all product knowledge and documentation.
• Update operating model governance, processes, and documentation in line with new capabilities.
• Collaborate with the IDM Relationship Director to manage third-party relationships and source new data.
• Support prioritisation, project management, and product management of data and data service requests for private market and ESG related change.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure operational appropriateness of new changes.
Operations Management
• Act as a subject matter expert on Private Markets asset classes (Private Equity, Property, Infrastructure, alternative fund of funds, Credit) and ESG concepts across all asset classes (private and public).
• Perform Data Operations activities as needed.
• Train Data Operations teams on new capabilities or changes to existing ones.
• Maintain product documentation for internal IDM technology and processes.
• Continuously seek product enhancements to improve Data Operations and Data Governance technology and processes.
• Support IDM Management Processes, including risk assessments, operating effectiveness monitoring, and audit participation.
• Assist in internal IDM operational reporting, including efficiency reports to assess operational processes against target product standards.
