The Role  

The ABC is looking for a Manager, Leadership & Talent to design and implement our leadership development strategy and oversee the operation of key talent related initiatives including succession planning, development, entry-level programs, mentoring and ABC scholarships. Reporting to the Head Organisational Development, you will be based in our fresh new office space in Ultimo, Sydney with the opportunity to work flexibly.  This is a key leadership role within the Organisational Development team, which is a passionate team of people and culture professionals who work collaboratively across the ABC to deliver great outcomes for our people and the organisation as a whole.

The Job 

This role involves:

• Building and implementing the organisational strategies around leadership development and talent development.
• Drawing on best practice to develop, manage and deliver corporate wide programs, events, systems and tools in relation to Leadership & Talent development
• Providing specialist advice in relation to Leadership & Talent development to senior leaders across the organisation. 
• Coaching and developing individual leaders identified throughout the talent process.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders across the ABC, People & Culture colleagues and the broader learning team. 

About You 

This is a senior role requiring both strategic planning and hands on program development and delivery and coaching.  

You’ll have: 

• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning methodologies and best practice in relation to talent & leadership development. 
• Significant experience developing and implementing talent & leadership development strategies across large organisations.
• High level skills in managing multiple projects, challenges and conflicting priorities in an L&D environment.
• Superior stakeholder management skills with a naturally collaborative work style.
