Due to company growth, we are looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team based at our Head Office in Osborne Park.
In this newly created role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Training and Development programs across the organisation to support the growth and development of our employees and business - this is your opportunity to make your mark through shaping and moulding the Training and Development function of the Primero business!
Role Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing training programs that are aligned with company objectives, annual budgets and project plans.
- Building the capacity of the Training and Development function within the business and working towards building a culture of continuous learning.
- Working closely with senior management on strategies to build the capability and expertise of the workforce.
- Lead Primero Development Programs; including Leadership, Supervisory, Graduate and Apprentice training programs.
- Lead Primero’s approach to compliance and legislative training for our trades and labour workforce.
- Track budgets, negotiate contracts, and build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers.
- Work closely with Primero management to ensure a full understanding of various business units and their specific training requirements.
- Management of a small team of Training and Development professionals.
- Manage Training and Development reporting requirements, including monitoring effectiveness of internal and external training.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (desired).
- Strong, demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- A hands-on delivery focussed mindset.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
- Ability to design and produce relevant training materials.
- Experience managing training programs, training matrices and competencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with employees.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
- Ability to drive efficient, best for business outcomes.
