Job Description
This 12 month fixed term contract opportunity is responsible for the design and delivery of high-quality organisational learning to meet the needs of our people, which is aligned to the TAL business strategy and TAL capability framework.
The role forms part of the Learning and Development leadership team and supports to enable and deliver on the Claims L&D strategy. Working across the Claims Learning & Development team the role collaborates with the team to deliver on Claims Learning Programs.
The role supports the Claims Learning and Development team in managing and delivering on multiple concurrent Learning and Development programs. Managing Learning and Development Governance, Compliance and Quality Frameworks supporting TAL Claims in meeting our regulatory requirements and agreed commitments.
The role provides exceptional capability to bring TAL’s Programs and learning solutions to life through a team of talented learning professionals in a fast-paced business and industry. The role will ensure that members of the TAL Claims teams (Group & Individual Life) and key partners receive adequate support to enable them to fully contribute to the team’s success
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years’ experience working in a learning and development role.
- Experience in managing and coaching Learning and Development team members.
- Experience in managing multiple mid to large scale learning projects through a team.
- Experience in digital development Articulate and RISE 360, as well as other digital programmes.
- Extensive experience in learning design principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in working with Learning Management Systems or HRIS.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Desirable, certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Desirable, demonstrated understanding of relevant regulatory and legal obligations impacting Life Insurance claim assessment.
