The Manager Major Projects within Physical Assets ServicesBranch (PASB) at SAPOL is accountable to the Director,Infrastructure & Assets for leading the delivery of SouthAustralia's new flagship Forensic Science CentreProject in partnership with other Government Agencies anduser groups.
The position is responsible for leadership of a small highperforming team to deliver the project and ensure fit for purposeinfrastructure is provided under the new build in support of SAPOLForensic Service Branch as a primary internal client.
The role will lead Project Management activities includingplanning, design input, budget, risk and schedule management,stakeholder engagement along with supporting the build and deliverythrough to completion.
The position requires a high level of leadership, judgement,project management experience, initiative and commercial acumen inall aspects of the formulation and implementation of a strategicinfrastructure initiative.
PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Strategy and ProjectsUnit, Major Projects Unit, Contracts & Impound Unit, StrategicOperations: Fleet & Property, Facilities Management Unit, andBusiness Unit. Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary
ASO8 - $119,317 - $123,822 per annum.
