Position Profile: The Manager is responsible for management of the office as well as develops, leads and manages the operational direction and transaction activities of the Directorate’s business administration, financial priorities and reporting. The Position has oversight and management of organisational impacts, ongoing performance improvement and management of reporting across the Directorate.
Role Specific Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of theOffice of the Executive Director, ensuring smooth functioning and coordination. Optimise business, information and communication systems to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, delivering required outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards at Directorate level. Oversee research, analysis, special tasks/projects and preparation of reports and briefings, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion. Provide coordination and support to other Directorate managers as required. Actively contribute to strategic, operational and business planning, shaping policies aligned with organisational goals. Cultivate an environment fostering staff management, inspiration and growth. Develop effective communication strategies, handling stakeholder responses accurately and sensitively.
