Manage the development, monitoring, reporting and analyzing of business information, to support the operational needs of the business and plan for future needs as required by the Prince of Wales Hospital (POWH), Sydney and Sydney Eye Hospital (SSEH) and community health services, SESLHD and the Ministry of Health. Key partners include the site Executives, Co-Directors, Department Heads and lead clinicians to develop strategies to meet organisational objectives and become a lead performer in Health.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
All workers and new recruits are required to receive 2 doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine to commence employment/ engagement or continue to work within a NSW Health service.
A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements.
In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.
Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.

- Recent experience in managing a broad range of information, and monitoring and reporting on performance in a large complex healthcare organisation.
- Proven high level project management skills, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
- Knowledge and understanding of the data captured in the major health data systems and casemix classification systems used in NSW Health and how to effectively use the data to inform operational performance and drive change.
- Experience in using word-processing, databases, spreadsheets, statistical packages, and software reporting tools in the accessibility, display and analyses of data.
- Experience in managing staff with data analytical skills to deliver high quality, high volume workloads within deadlines.
- High level numeracy, oral, and written communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
