Analyst, Network Operations- Japanese Speaker

• Must speak business level Japanese AND English!
• Great roster 3 days one week and 4 the next week
• Initial 12- month contract

Global fintech corporation is looking for a junior-mid level network analyst to work in a 24/7/365 Operations Support Center - 12 hour shifts - Day only (6am-6pm). We are looking for Japanese speakers with exceptional junior talent with excellent communication skills and out-going personalities.
Overview

• Provide 24x7x365 technical operations support on a global infrastructure; with focus on minimizing impact to Customers and internal users.
• This specific opportunity is for early career level staff with some previous technical experience to monitor the infrastructure and be a key stakeholder in Incident and Change Management processes.
• Regularly perform data analysis to determine performance and identify areas of improvement.

• You MUST speak Japanese and fluent in English

Role

• Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
• Perform effective vendor management techniques to ensure forward-progress managed Incidents.
• Monitor the performance of traffic, systems, and central site processing, addressing anomalies detected.
• Conduct quarterly Release and patch rollout for European authorization system
• Route central site and customer traffic as necessary to minimize downtime and impact to the brand and business.
• Day shift ( 6am-6pm) You will work 3 days one week and 4 days the other totaling 7 working days a fortnight.

All about You

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate-level knowledge of routing, switching, tunneling, and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
• Expert -level ability to perform post-event analysis.
• Demonstrates the ability to function in at least 1 from 4 of the following disciplines: UNIX, Mainframe, Production Control, File Transfer, Single-Message, Dual-Message, or Network), and has intermediate-level understanding in at least 3 areas.
• Intermediate UNIX scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology.
• You demonstrate comfort in influencing and building relationships internally and externally to achieve successful business outcomes
• Effective organisation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication skills able to bridge all levels of the organisation up and down to create a shared knowledge and understanding of project details, issues and solutions.
