The newly established Business Intelligence, Planning and Improvement department aims to improve delivery, coordination and alignment of services across the organisation. We provide a ‘one stop shop’ for enterprise-wide analysis, reporting, improvement and decision support, as well as program planning, delivery, change and Governance through a collaborative and localised partnership model.
You’ll be responsible for re-establishing the function, including introducing frameworks, tools, methodology and recruiting for a number of new positions.
You’ll be part of a highly skilled, committed and collaborative management team that together provide crucial and highly valued services to the rest of the organisation.
What you’ll do:
Managing and guiding day to day work of a diverse team of professionals, including mentoring and coaching along professional development goals.
Work closely and collaboratively with the other managers in the department to establish, improve and implement processes, tools and frameworks for successful delivery and management.
Drive and proactively promote, educate and establish consistent best practice project and business management, governance, processes and methodologies across all of organisation/
Establish and implement and enterprise-wide framework and approach for Service Level standards and performance.
What you’ll need:
Have a strong background in current frameworks and methodologies, with experience managing organisation-wide transformation programs.
Significant demonstrated experience in project, governance, planning, resource modelling or similar background incl. leadership, management and delivery and proven ability to establish, lead and manage a small team.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, including proven ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts and make decisions based on sound judgments and available relevant research.
