You will be part of the Projects and Planning management team that is responsible for project management, planning, and after-sales. Projects and Planning is part of the production organisation in Gothenburg, which currently has approximately 400 employees.
We are looking for a manager for one of two groups within Projects and Planning, responsible for project management and project planning. Your specific group is responsible for ground-based and maritime radar systems.
Your role
As the manager of Projects and Planning Surface, you are responsible for leading and developing project management and project planning for production projects in Gothenburg. As the manager of the unit, which currently has approximately 20 employees, you lead leaders (project managers) and planners.
As part of the Project and Planning management team, you are responsible for balancing workloads throughout production and clearly communicating the status of projects for which the unit is responsible.
Your main tasks:
• Lead, motivate and develop employees.
• Ensure deliveries.
• Drive method development.
• Lead improvement work.
• Participate in and contribute to the management team for P&P.
• Build and develop relationships with stakeholders within and outside the organisation.
Your profile
You are already an experienced leader with good communication skills. You are results-oriented and committed to the assignments you take on. You are structured and disciplined with the ability to lead yourself.
You promote an open, trustworthy, and innovative climate in your unit and in collaboration with other functions.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Project management experience.
• Management experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of flow of material and production processes.
• Business understanding.
• Customer focus.
• Master's degree or equivalent.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
