Project Manager – Structural Steel/Construction

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director and General Manager, this role will oversee the full life cycle of construction from fabrication, supply and installation.
- Managing multiple projects of varying sizes incl. Tier 1 clients.
- Design development including liaising with workshop staff, estimators, engineers, architects and clients.
- Preparing and executing health and safety plans in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and client requirements.
- Preparing and executing work plans and programs.
- Programming and resourcing equipment and materials to successfully deliver a project.
- Site visits - at times working away for short periods (LAHA provided)
- Tendering.
- Reporting to the management team and relevant client stakeholders.
Prerequisites
- A strong background in Construction Project Management or having held a Project Engineer role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret Architectural, Engineering and Fabrication drawings.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills including problem solving.
- Possess relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with CAD or similar.
- Attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
