We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a track record of project completion in the insurance industry to lead a business-critical Supply Chain management project. The perfect applicant will be able to lead projects to successful completion, possess outstanding project management abilities, and have a thorough understanding of Supply Chain procedures.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and direct the successful execution of business-critical Supply Chain management initiatives, guaranteeing on-time delivery while staying within budget and scope.
• Create thorough project plans that include resource allocation, deadlines, and milestones.
• Work together with cross-functional teams from IT, underwriting, claims, logistics, and procurement to guarantee smooth project execution.
• Recognise and address project risks and problems, putting in place workable solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding the status, progress, and outcomes of the project.
• Examine and streamline Supply Chain operations to boost productivity, cut expenses, and raise quality of service.
• Throughout the course of the project, make sure that all industry standards and laws are followed.
• Develop enduring bonds with partners and suppliers as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain-focused project management expertise, together with a wealth of knowledge in the insurance sector.
• Thorough understanding of the technology, procedures, and concepts of the Supply Chain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to influence and work in conjunction with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Proven capacity to oversee several projects concurrently in a high-pressure setting.
• Robust leadership attributes, featuring an anticipatory and outcome-focused approach.
• Knowledge of industry rules and “Supply Chain management and insurance” compliance needs
